Santa Barbara County hosts crucial nonprofit entities committed to enhancing the well-being, progress, involvement, and compassion within our society.

Our commitment to charitable giving and philanthropy is part of our identity, and that’s why Noozhawk takes pride in sponsoring local community organizations and events.

To showcase our support as a sponsor of “A Night in Havana,” Noozhawk spoke with Sally Lopez, Public Relations Coordinator at St. Mary of the Assumption School to learn more about their upcoming event.

Question: What is the name and date of your event?

Answer: A night in Havana on Saturday April 27, 2024.

Q: What is the mission, goal, and/or theme of this occasion?

Join us for a night of fun and philanthropy at St. Mary’s School Dinner & Auction! This year, we’re bringing Havana to you with our theme “A Night in Havana.” Step into the Country Club and be transported to the vibrant streets of Cuba with classic cars, delectable dinner, and stunning décor. Parents, it’s your chance to glam up in Cuban-inspired attire, support our school, and groove to the rhythm of the night! Let’s make a difference together!

Your contribution enables us to continually enhance our facilities, invest in technology, and expand our community activities while keeping our services affordable for local children. St. Mary’s School is a fully-accredited non-profit 501(c)(3) institution, and all donations in the form of cash, services, or supplies are tax deductible, offering benefits to your business.

Our school serves as a cornerstone in our community, dedicated to providing quality, and faith-based education. The funds raised from this auction goes directly back to the school providing lower tuition cost, maintenance of the school, and supporting our extracurricular programs

We are grateful for those who have donated, volunteered, and supported our annual dinner and auction.

A: We have a 4×1 raffle where a $20 ticket can earn you 4 chances to win and prizes ranging from $1000 to $2500. Buy your ticket from any St. Mary’s student, parent, or visit us at the school office.

Q: What are you planning as a post-event follow up?

A: Sending appreciation notes, sharing pictures and videos and start planning out 22nd annual dinner and auction.
