The Abel Maldonado Youth Community Center, 600 S. McClelland St., is hosting Fun with Fan Art during May. It is a free drop-in program for teens in grades seven to 12, who are 12-18 years old and wish to express their creative ideas through arts and crafts.

Teens who attend the workshop will learn how to create fan art, pop art, and book creations. They will also learn about the world of comic book creation, and how to create a unique comic of their own.

The workshops will take place 4:30-6:30 p.m. each Thursday in May in the studio at the youth center.
